My name is Amber Gale. I grew up in a small town out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have lived in Gainesville for almost 12 years. I am married, and I have two children. I am also a Girl Scout mom and assistant troop leader. This will be my sixth year working at B’nai Israel. I was a substitute teacher my first year and worked in the infant room for the past four. I’ve been working with children of all ages and disabilities for over 18 years and I love learning new things from them. I really enjoy talking to any parent at the school, being approachable, being a listening ear, and helping anyone that might need it. I also love arts/crafts, creating bulletin board borders, and turtles. This year is going to be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to get started.
My name is Monique Levy, I was born and raised in Brazil and lived in Boston for 5 years prior to moving to Gainesville in June 2018. I have many years of experience working with children of all ages and I taught ESL in Brazil before I moved here. I particularly love working with infants and toddlers as it is extremely rewarding to be part of their lives as they grow and learn. In my spare time, I enjoy biking and hiking with my husband, hanging out with friends and family and reading. This is my first year at B’nai Israel and I can’t wait to have a wonderful time with your little ones.
