My name is Tiffany Zelaya and I am the lead teacher for the 2’s Tzhov class. This is my second year at B’nai Israel Community Day School. I am originally from Miami, Florida but was raised here in Gainesville, Florida. I am a third year student at the University of Florida studying Education Sciences. I love all things nature, exploring, traveling, and take interest in photography/videography. Some of my strengths in my classroom would be crafts and showing lots of love and affection to your little ones. I love doing art projects and getting messy. I work towards providing an environment for your little ones to grow and thrive in. I tend to use art activities and gestures as an outlet to express feelings and emotions while we work on developing our verbal skills. I think this allows me to understand each child on a different and personal level which gives me the opportunity to connect with them more emotionally. I am very excited about this new school year and having all new friends in the Tzhov class.
